our official returns policy
for distributors... |
returns
of non-defective merchandise (overstock inventory/stock balancing):
For
each specific Video Aided Instruction title, you may return up
to 10% of the units that you
have purchased during the prior 12-month period,
provided the merchandise is in “perfect
condition” and is still being actively published (that
is, available for sale at http://www.videoaidedinstruction.com).
This 10% figure applies to real goods, not dollar value, and is title-specific
— e.g., 2 units of a given title may be returned only if 20
units of this particular title were purchased during the prior 12-month
period. Video Aided Instruction defines “perfect
condition” as follows: merchandise (including packaging)
must be completely free of marks, stickers,
labels, scratches, cuts, dings, etc., and must include, intact,
all packaging and study guide materials
that accompanied its initial sale. If the condition of any non-defective
merchandise submitted for return is deemed to be below this “perfect
condition” standard, the return will be rejected. Upon
return, we will issue you, less Shipping &
Handling, a credit against future purchases
only. In other words, we will update your account to reflect
a credit for the returned merchandise; however,
your company will still be responsible for the Shipping & Handling
charges incurred as part of the initial order. A 15%
restocking fee will be deducted from the value of merchandise
that is returned in “perfect condition,”
but opened (i.e., taken out of its
original plastic wrap). To
return non-defective merchandise, simply:
- contact us to request a Return
Authorization Number (R.A. #);
- clearly mark your return package
with the R.A. # you are issued; and
- ship out your return package to
us within 15 days of the issuance
of your R.A. #
(insurance is recommended).
returns
of defective or damaged merchandise: Although
we strive for perfection here at Video Aided Instruction, on rare
occasion you may receive defective or damaged merchandise. Upon return,
we will replace at our expense any product that proves defective in
workmanship or materials or has been damaged in shipment with the
same product only, provided you request
an R.A. # within 90 days of the receipt of your order.
